Shutterstock -  is one of  the largest based stock photo agency.  Photographers can submit any number of  photos. Photos which meet their submission guidelines are approved within 2 to 3 days

Photographers are paid 25c every time a photo is downloaded. Buyers pay a monthly subscription fees to download up to 750 images per month. The minimum payout is US$75, but if  you close your account before reaching the minimum payout, the amount in your account is forfeited. Payment is sent monthly by check. 

You can also make money by referring other photographers to Shutterstock, you get paid 3c every time your referrals photo is downloaded. You are paid 20% of the subscription fees paid by referrals who subscribe to Shutterstock.

Big stock photo  - also pays for submitting photos. The  rates per photo are higher than Shutterstock, but seem to have stricter submission guidelines.

Istockphoto - accepts medium to high resolution jpg files, flash and vector imagery.  Photographer usually earns a royalty of 20% on the photos and upto 40% for exclusive photos. Earnings can be converted into download credits or paid out. Minimum payout is US$100.

Dreamstime - photographers are paid 50-65% from each image sold
